Wheels and tires?

I'm ready to put on new wheels and tires and have some idea of what I want but don't know if they'll fit without rubbing. I'm looking at 18x9.5 Eagle 114's with 6" Backspacing. I want the largest tire I can get up to 35's without rubbing. I'm looking at BFG's AT/KO's in either 285,305,325/65r/18's. I don't have a leveling kit yet, (hoping to put a Thuren kit on soon, if I can find somebody local to do the install ). I've been going through alot of old posts but still need some reassurance. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Ive got 325s on 18s and they rub. I do not have the leveling kit yet but going to get it. I would recommend 305s or 315s. The tires I got can be hard to turn in a pinch.

Tire selection to fit 18" wheels is not that great from what i have found. I'd like to stay away from a mud tire because of all the towing and highway miles. Do you think the 285's or even the 305's will look big enough and fill out the wheel wells? I've seen 285/70/17's and to me there not large enough. Where can I find 315's in 18"?

325/70-17's here with 2" lift and no rubbing. Wheel backspacing is paramount, and the 18x9.5 with 6" backspacing is just about perfect (I prefer a 9" wide wheel).

Took my lunch break and headed over to the local tire shop to check on some Nitto terra grapplers. I have narrowed it down to 2 sizes, either 325/65r/18 or 325/60r/18. I think the 65's are taller?. Just for shitts and giggles I asked about Eagle alloy wheels and told them what I was looking for. They called Eagle direct and someone on Eagles end stated that they don't make a wheel with anything more than 5" backspacing . Now I know I have seen their wheels advertised with 6" BS. I believe it was Eagles web site to boot. So, I'm in the process of searching for the correct wheels. When I get this all sorted out, I'm going to have some lift questions...just fair warning .

PullU2,

Yeah, I found a couple places who said they have them with 6" BS. Cheapest I found was $172ea with free shipping. By the way, I was checking out the pics in your gallery, your truck looks awesome.

yfz431,
Check out www.gearalloy.com They make 17x9 and 18x9 wheels with 6" back space/+25 mm offset. I just installed the 714c Locker with 285/65R18 Nitto Terra Grapplers. The tires are right at the edge of the fender. They look killer. Hope to post some pics soon.

I thought about the 285/65R18's too because they are E rated and have the most load range of the group but wasn't sure if they would look big enough. Get them pictures up here man!!! I'm going to do some wheel searching today just for other options.

Thanks to everyone on this site for all there help.
