What's my truck weigh?
Anyone know the overall weight of my truck (when empty) and what the split is between the front and rear? I'm thinking it's around 7000# overall but I have no idea how it's shared front-to-rear. I've searched this site and also my factory manual but can't seem the find the numbers I'm looking for. I know, I know - I need to get to a scale to get the "true" numbers. In the meantime, I'm hoping for a little help here. Thanks.

The best way to find out is go to the local truckstop and get on the scale. It cost from $7 to $9.50 depending on the scale. This way you know the exact weight of your truck.

Sage junction is about 300 miles from where I reside, but thanks anyway for the info.
Based on the input of those here, I think I have the info I originally wanted. My truck weighs somewhere in the neighborhood of 7200 lbs empty, about 60% of which is over the front axle and 40% in the rear.

If you are in the Boise area the TA out by the airport has a CAT scale. The Pilot in Mountain Home has a CAT scale. The Flying J in Caldwell and Twin Fallshas a scale. The Eden truck stop has a CAT scale as well. Just some places I know of. Might be a bit closer to ya.
