Whats my issue

Had defroster on last night and now i cant get it to to floor or vent and its stuck on heat cant get it to go to cool or anything. So whats my issue truck has 37347 miles on it out of warrenty and how much will it cost me at dealer i am going to call tommorrow to see thanks for any and all replys

You have the classic blend door issue. Not too expensive to fix if you have the time to do it yourself. Expensive if you have to pay someone as the labor is somewhat intensive. Good luck.

Sounds like one or more of the doors in the HVAC have problems. My '06 had the problem although not as severe. It's not uncommon maybe you can get them to cover it?

Try switching the position of the doors with the fan on low only. Mine from almost new will not switch with high fan speeds. Guess the teeny little motors on the doors can't handle the breeze.

yea i have always been useing the fan on low for switch from floor vent ect, for last 2 years after reading on Dtr.
