What's the deal?
I got on line to "eservicecontracts" and it looks as though their selling the same extended warranty as my dealer. The "Maxcare 7yr./100,00". Only its about $650 less than my dealer quoted me.
My question, is this the same warranty?
The on line one dosn't ask any questions about being a diesel or being a heavy duty truck, ony if it's four wheel drive or all wheel drive.
Dealer said my new truck should arrive on Dec. 11. and I have one year or 12000 mi. to buy the extended warranty. that gives me time to shop around.
Any one bought from eservicecontracts? Is it the same DC Maxcare warranty?

Be VERY careful with this, there is a mile of fine print.
Be 100% sure they know you are 3/4 ton and Diesel powered.
I have never bought one, but have heard coverage horror stories.

Unless something has changed, and I don't believe anything has, you have the whole term of your basic warranty to decide if you want an extended Chrysler contract. You can also go to other dealers and "shop around" on pricing as it is flexable.

If I'm not mistaken I think I read in my little brochure for mine that you have until 40000 mi. to decide to buy it and yes you can shop around as some dealerships are cheaper.

FYI Make sure after you purchase your extended warranty that it is actually submitted by the dealership. Many of the extended and warranty transfers do not make it to Chrysler. I know from personell experience. If you get your warranty through Chysler just call them a week after you submit your check to the dealer for verfication of your warranty.
