What cool flashes are available?

I have not had any flashes done to my truck yet, but I will soon. Just wondering what all is available? I have a friend who has the high idle flash, pretty cool. Do any of your dealers charge for the flashes?

Get the high idle, forget the backup alarm. I don't know how the fuel economy or overhead calibration flashes work.

I'm sure this has been covered in other threads, but after you get the high idle flash, how do you use it?

With your foot off the brake, turn the cruise control on, push the set button, then push down the accel button to increase the RPM between 1100 and 1500 RPM. By the way, I complained of low cab heat and it did not cost me anything. They did forget to enable the feature the first time though.

I don't care to start a big debate. In my opinion you should not excessively idle without the high idle feature enabled & the truck in neutral. This feature keeps your temps up and prevents cylinder wash. Neutral keeps tranny fluid circulating. It will not do this in park unless you have a modded VB. Just my .02

On a 05 UP the high idle is not a FLASH.Its already in the system. It just has to be turned on.A FLASH is a computer software download.Updates.Lots of things are already in the SYSTEM just need to be enabled(turned on.) I would think most dealers/shops with the knowledge and capability to ENABLE them would charge a fee.I would unless you just happen to be a GREAT customer, buddy or a relative I liked ok.
