Water in fuel and Low washer solvent light inop.

I first noticed my low washer solvent light didn't come on when I ran out of fluid. I then turned on the key while holding the trip reset for the gauge / light check and found that neither the low solvent or the water in fuel light came on. This is an early 2007 Thunder road long bed 4wd Quad cab. Could this be normal, a feature that was dropped? Could you run the test on your truck? Thanks, Ted

I would think not. Some sort of gauge cluster issue/printed circuit most likely.

I thought the low washer fluid was just a Canadian option, perhaps required by law. Not even a bulb check on the Water in Fuel warning that I have ever seen.
