Tsb????

Does anyone know if TSB's are covered under warranty? I took my truck into the dealer today to get the ac compressor checked out and I wanted to get the high idle tsb done while it was in there. They told me it would cost $51 for them to perform the tsb. I couldnt convince him that it was covered under warranty.

That's sad my dealer did it in five minutes for free. They just enable it with the DRBIII. Good luck.

Well, I just had the ECM reflash and the window gaskets replaced under TSB/warranty.

Now, having said that....what is the high idle TSB suppose to fix? Go in and complain about the problem, and point out the TSB will fix it. Then I know for sure that it's under warranty.

As per the TSB (technical service bulletin) for poor cab heat, slow warm up, "reimbersable under provisions of normal warranty" which means that as long as your truck is still under warranty and you complain that you are experiencing poor cab heat/slow warm up then it is covered under warranty.I believe it is TSB# 18-004-04. Hope this helps.

Ok, I just asked if I could get it done and he said sure. Then he comes into the waiting room a little later and says it will be a $51 charge. I'll wait till it gets colder and I'll complain about slow warm up.
