Is truck stop fuel different from fuel from a regular gas station?

What exactly is the defference/benefit of this "premium" diesel? I saw it for the first time in Minnesota because we just moved there and was kinda interested. Thanks

I think the main difference is supposed to be higher cetane. Like, closer to 50 instead of ~45/46 like other fuel. Craig

Here in the Shenandoah Valley, most pumps have 40 cetane diesel. I buy 48 cetane from Southern States, which is a little higher, but my 12 valve runs noticebly better on it. To top it off, the Southern States gasoline has no ethanol.
