I've had nothing but compliments. I've even had highway workers and construction workers stop working and watch me drive by.

Boy, you guys sure are lucky to be surrounded by such nice people... I have only had one person comment on my 3rd gen and he called it a P.O.S. because I didn't have PW/PDL whatever... my two 2nd gens got a lot of comments/compliments. I must have gotten the ugly duckling with this one.

Nobody else has said anything, except that they all want me to help them move since I have a big truck... yeah right!

When somebody asks "why so big" I like to repsond with..."why not?"

It is faster and more fuel efficent than my Grand Cherokee....which I never drive anymore.

I haven't had this many positive comments since I bought my 1968 Mustang convertible.

Latest positive comment was "Wow, now that's a man's truck."

Yes, it's nice to cause people's heads to turn.

Great truck...causes great comments.

I couldn't resist, and just had to add this.

Today I went to pick up a prescription at a supermarket drive-up window. The lady on the other side of the window started in immediately..."Oh, what a beautiful truck. What kind is it? How many does it seat? I just love the color." On and on, and on.

I loved it.

I was a great salesman for Dodge Ram Diesel and didn't even have to say anything.

A woman I work with bought one and I have to say it does look huge to a newcomer.

After I saw hers I wanted one but I'm waiting till next Fall for a 2005.

Yo, Johnny, what's "NV5600"?

Is that the technical term for the 6 speed?

Thanks.

DT.

A guy in his 50's (driving a 1500 Ram) pulled up next to me in the grocery's store parking lot and said, "I want a big truck like yours when I grow up."

One thing I don't like about these awesome CTD's is when I order food in a drive thru. The order takers could never hear me. One lady ask me if I can turn off my engine before I can place my order. I told her NO.

Same thing happens to me every time I go to Taco Bell. They ask me to turn off the truck. I say "I don't think so, get you com system fixed."

Had another complaint yesterday. Went into our credit union, and left the truck running. Customer inside says "Is that your diesel." I says Yep. She says "I can't stand the fumes." I say "Lady, you have to be kidding." She wasn't, and, being Mr. Nice Guy, I went out and turned it off.

If noise and diesel fumes are the worst problems I ever have with the truck, I'll be very fortunate.

18,900 miles, and everything is still perfect. Great truck.

I've stayed back at drive thrus , so the person at the speaker could hear and be heard. But when the old lady ' swings around' me , because I'm leaving a gap, Mr. nice guys goes bye-bye. I even had one get out of her Caddy, and ask me to turn that loud thing off so she could hear the lady inside. I told her " With all due respect, that is why I left the gap in the first place. You wanted to fill the gap, deal with it." She told me I was #1 and got back in her car. When I got to the window, they asked what that was all about, I told them, they were chearing me on. I do shut mine down, but then again mine is the knocker CTD and not the 'quiet as a BMW' CTD.

Of course, this implies that they were actually working to begin with, which is difficult to prove

Well, a man has to do something to occupy his time while he's leaning on that shovel!

hey everyone, well everyone i work with always ask me why i have such a big truck. i tell them it was either get a girlfriend or buy a truck, so i bought the truck.
when driving around town everyone compliments my wheels 03 so 4x4 pat blue. i have noticed the ford and chevy guys seem to look discontent when i drive by them. any ways the whole drive thrue thing, i always say into the speaker with a loud voice (wait a minute while i turn my truck off cause your speaker is to low i cant hear you) they always seem to turn it up. these truck do look real nice alot better then the other brand names

I had 2 gay guys tell me my truck looked really "butch". Can there be a higher compliment?
