Smile Trashed Tire - Road Hazard

Well my son managed to trash one of my tires yesterday. Only 9K on it. Went to Discount Tire in Ormond Beach, Fl. because they were the only place that had the original match up. I was amazed when I got the bill. The tire sold for 160.00. The guy there sets me up with a Road Hazard package on 5 tires and warrantees the torn up tire. 133.00 out the door and now all my tires are coverd by road hazard for the life of the tire. What a straight up guy! I will be recommending that company to evertyone.

Yup, that's Americas Tire out here, and I've used the heck out of their road hazzard warranty. Even bought a set of lo profile goodyears on sale from tirerack and went to Americas Tire and got their warranty... one nail in the sidewall and we saved $200 bucks for a new tire.

Road Hazard is the only "extended warranty" I believe in.

Usually less than 5 bucks per tire.

One $200+ tire replaced for free makes it more than worth it.

Back in my "Cheap" days, I would buy road hazard on just one tire. Then if something happened, it was of course the tire I had insured

Probably wouldn't work today, with computers and serial numbers I don't doubt they can tell which tire it is

Tires are a big investment these days, might as well protect that investment if possible
