My tow mirror got taken off today by a tree. I phoned the locale dodge ***********. They told me it would cost $634.35. To me that seems way over priced for a mirror. So I went to a junk yard and they can get me a new one for $265. So it is pretty obvious which one I am going to get. I was just wondering why are parts from dealerships so over priced.

 

woah! I smacked my passenger one on another trucks one on a narrow street and cracked it. Think I'll hit the local boneyard and bypass the ***********.

 

Check ebay. I just ordered a whole set, power and heated for under 300 bucks shipped! Check around, someones trying to give you a hosin'.

 

Just noticed your location, I don't know what the exchange rate would figure out to!

 

You can buy a PAIR of heated/power mirrors for $275....


Your best bet may be either looking on ebay, or buying a pair and sell the one you dont need, there might be some other poor guy out there just needing one...
Or hang onto it in case you need it for the other side

watch out on ebay, make sure they are OEM mirrors. i bought a set of "aftermarket" ones and they shook and vibrated something awful. i found a OEM set from ebay tho, no problems.

 

Can't find the dealer's name, but it was a dealer in Texas. New in the box with the Mopar numbers on it.

That's who I got mine from. They are legit OEM mirrors and at a MUCH better price than my local dealer.
