what would be an ideal tool box filled with tools to keep in the truck (what tools would you recomend)? I just realized I dont have one completely put together and available if I break down. I want to get one put together by next week when I head out on a road trip for 9 days. obviously spare fuel filter, oil filter, but what else?
I carry a spare fuel filter, socket and wrench for the fuel filter cap, pliers, cutters, assortment of tie wraps, VOM, gloves, spare oil, fuel conditioner, electrical tape, screwdrivers, flashlights, road flares and some other things I can't think of at the moment.

prybar/s,jumper cables, socket set, tow strap, five gallon container of diesel with additive, DC power inverter, small 120 volt air compressor, brake fluid, p/s fluid, power service, marvel mystery oil, 2 stroke oil, wrenches, spare 3 ton jack, 1 gallon of coolant, ratchet straps, bungees, machete.
those are just some of the things in my tool box along with some mentioned above, gotta be prepared when you venture to the middle of nowhere.

I have most of the above and two tools sets that have 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 drive up to 1" sockets, the other is cresants, pliers, screw drivers, etc. I also have a spare serpentine belt, plus all the filters for my FASS. A set of tire shocks and a high lift jack base for changing tires in bad locations.
