Mine rubbed the paint/surface off the upper arms...twice!

 

I'd like to see the tire manufacturers come out with a LT255/85 17E for our trucks. That'd be a 34 inch tire I believe.

 

i guess i am just lucky or something. i have heard mixed results, some say they clear some say they rub. i guess it depends on the truck. my truck has 3.73 and 6 spd(of coarse).

 

that would be narrower then the stock 265's the 315 measure to be like 34.4-34.6.

 

I tried 315s on my stock rims and got rubbing and was unhappy with the performance even after the Speedo recal. I then put on 285s BFG ATKO and am super happy. In the end, I may have lost .5 to 1 MPG but the grip, ride, and looks are worth it. 285s for me!

 

i wish i had bought 285's when i went to replace my first set of 315's i already have the speedo set so why change now. i would have to swap my spare too. so i still have 315's....
