My son-in-law purchased the same truck I have, except it is a 2500 and with the hemi V8. We noticed that his back window is not tinted. Both our trucks are SLT's. The back side windows are dark tint with the forward windows a lighter tint.
He did not notice that the rear window was not tinted utill after he had driven it home.

Should the back window glass have been tinted with with the SLT package? ???

 

I don't believe that I have EVER seen an SLT without a tinted rear window. That should be replaced.

Why the heck did he buy the Hemi?

 

Sounds like someone may have broken out the back window while it was on the lot and someone replaced it with a non-tinted window assembly. I'm pretty sure that tinted windows are listed as standard equipment. I would have the dealer replace the entire window. Don't let them just put an aftermarket tint film on it.

He bought the hemi for exceleration not for pulling. He pulls a boat twice a year. He is a volunteer fireman and must get down the road quickly. Except for the 6 speed shifter, I think my CTD HO winds up just as quickly although 3.2K RPM does not campare to 6 or 7K on the hemi.
