Superchips mileage increase

I know the overhead console in the '06's is supposed to be very inaccurate, but prior to superchips flashpaq I was getting 18.5 avg. Now I get 25.5+. Accurate or not, seems pretty good. I'll do it on paper today and let you know the real results. BTW- truck has 1700 miles on it.

My 03 overhead reports 19.7 MPG. Hand calcs put it at 19.1 MPG...Not too bad.

Thats with a Predator Stage IV Boost Box.
Do you really think that this Super Chip was the only thing that increased your mileage by this much? Or did you do ANYTHING else in the mean time?

Tanks,
Kutch

Superchips is the only thing I have done. I'm sure the actual MPG is not 26, just stating the noted increase the console was showing. I wouldn't think that the truck is starting to break in all of the sudden. And of course having the tuner doesn't make me drive it much nicer! LOL

Superchip surprise

Welcome to the world of imaginary mileage. I too almost ripped my face smiling on the first tank after installing my flashpaq. It didn't last long tho. Hand calculation revealed about 5mpg less than overhead when tuned to performance setting. It is nice to look at and causes all my friends to price diesel trucks after they ride in mine.

I can pickup 2 MPG ( overhead) if I rock the Rocktec sensor, I just wish someone would tell my tank.
