I have a 2002 HO with a six speed. Will a boost fooler and boost elbow increase my power and lower my egts, or is this even need with a superchip?

Is anyone running a superchip and a boost fooler and elbow now?

 

yes Iam I dont think the superchip dose any boost fooling.

 

More boost should cool you down and allow you to run bigger sticks for more power =P More boost doesn't necessarily mean more power unless you have fuel.

 

I can hit 28psi of boost with my boost fooler/j hook pulling big grades.

 

How high of boost do you get with just the superchip and J-Hook and boost fooler. What egts are you seeing. Are they lower with the J-Hook and boost fooler?

 

I've never seen anymore than 28psi with or without the SC. When I tow, I just turn the darn thing off and go back to the stock setting (of course I have my injectors) and can hit 28psi when I'm in the peddle. My highest EGT when running the SC on tow perf(before injectors install) was 1180 degrees pulling my #7000 TT in July on a long grade. As far as the difference with/without the j-hook, I did my gauges at the same time as I did the j-hook so I can't help you out there.

 

the j-hook wont do you any good as you have a manual tranny...need a boost elbow or manual boost controller.
