Stabalizer ?
I had to get towed from the middle of know where. It has rained almost everyday for 2 weeks so things were a bit slick/sloppy.
The 26' toyhauler slid and pulled me with it When i got pulled out the chain put some dent in {I believe it is the stabalizer} under the truck inbetween the front tires has a shock on it and now it is a bit rough when turning. does anyone know how much those are? Also looks like it is held on by 2 bolts anything else i should know when installing it?

that is your tie rod going from one spindle to the other.... If it is bent your alignment will be way off. You can replace it yourself but it needs to be aligned afterward.. Just count how many turns you unscrew it and turn back in that many when putting the new one on. That will get you close but still better send it to the shop!!!

Yeah, call or go online at 4wheelparts.com......get a rancho or comparable to that at probably the same or lower price than the dealer... and the OEM stabilizer is crap.

Well I dont many statements regarding stock front end parts, but, if you have a stock front end, then the stock stabilizer bar is probably the best to use. $132 for a bent bar seems high, but there will be no better replacement for the stock front end. If you want to upgrade to a lift kit so be it, but if you want something to fix what is broke then I would suggest the dealer stabilizer bar. Just my .02.
PS, don't minimize the importance of that bar on the highway at 70+ mph.
