Squeeky annoying sliding rear window

Man, does anyone else's sliding rear window squeek outta control? Is there any known cure for this? I haven't even used it once. I can fiddle with it and it will cease for a day or so, but then goes back to the annoying sound. Have to turn up the stereo to drown it out............. :

Re:Squeeky annoying sliding rear window

Man I thought I was the only one having this problem. It is especially bad when it gets very cold outside. I to have fiddled with the window but to no avail. I has become very annoying. even more so to the passengers that sit in the back. I wish I knew what was causing it. I thought that maybe my step bars were a little loose but they are tight as can be. I just thought they might have somthing to do with it since the bolts used go into the frame/body. Hopefully I'll figure it out soon. ???

I experienced this problem as well. As a temporary fix, I wedged a piece of black, cardboard type material behind the latch mechanism so the window would fasten tighter. This stopped the squeaking, but I was not pleased to have to resort to such a jerry-rig repair on a $30,000+ truck.
I plan on bringing this to my dealer's attention at my next service visit.

Well, I guess I'm glad I'm not the only one. Yeah, it's weird that it gets worse with the cold.
Wick-I also have the problem with the rear seat belt. Also, the cluster where the window controls are squeeks. Other than these couple of annoyances, it's a very tight truck; unlike my old '01 Chevy....man that thing rattled from day one.
