SPLAT!

:'(

I need to find a solution to the splashing and splattering the e-brake pedal does when its released...it splashes all up my arm and the door panel as well as my pant leg when its released. I think I might build a little cover of sorts for it.
It got me about half a dozen times today. :-[

Re:SPLAT!

Release the pedal slowly and it will not splash you anymore.

Re:SPLAT!

Hmmm...I'll give that a try. It appears to want to let off with one click all the way. I am going out now and will let you know.

Thanks

Re:SPLAT!

Just hold your foot on it when you release the pedal, and let it come up slowly.

Did you ever get the stereo install finished?

Re:SPLAT!

I guess its been too cold to think about the foot on pedal approach lately. DOH! :
Thanks.

Stereo had a glitch from tying into the spkr wires of the Infinity system...there amps hidden.
Now I will go and run 12 gauge wires direct from the spkrs to the amps...maybe Monday. ;D
Partial install is poor.

Re:SPLAT!

I thought I was the only one that was bugged by that

The guy that designed that with the release lever right over the pedal must have been in a bad mood. Use your foot on the pedal when releasing it does work, but I usually don't think about it untill a split second before I get a hand full of slop >

That problem goes along with the one of all the snow that falls off the top of the door right into the middle of your seat, its a great way to start the morning. :-

Re:SPLAT!

I was just thinking exactly the same thing...snow on butt and muck on arm...Good Morning! :'(
Maybe the heated seat will short out and I'll get a new hair style too. ;D

Re:SPLAT!

Read on another post that the slower you pull the brake release, the slower the pedal will come up.

I tried it and it actually works!

Man, I am glad someone else is having those problems too. I hate that. The snow was really thick last night down here in Florida and the ice an yuk all over. Hmmm, the flowers didn't even like it.

Man, you can leave those toys home. I will find you out in the pool seeing how much less those stupid marbles weigh when underwater. I can see it all now: "Visiting Canuck found dead in bottom of swimming pool hanging onto a cement ball. It appears he had a love affair with the ball and would not come up for air." Then, I will have to appear in court and swear up and down I don't know him, don't know where those cement marbles came from, don't know why they are in my pool, in fact, who is this crazee guy?
Fridge is definitely full - - left over turkey, taters, salad, pies, cake - - like, hey, HELP, I'M GOING DOWN WITH SCOTTY AND CAN'T GET UP. ;D
