hello,

had the AC issue of blowing warm air. took it in and they replaced the compressor or maybe the condensor. don't remember. anyway now when i turn on the "vent" i get cold air and the water drips below the truck same as it would when i push the ac button on the dash.

what would cause the "vent" to work just like the AC without the ac being turned on. taking it back in and i want to sound as tho i know what i am talking about.

If the defrost is on , the AC is on also .
There may be an issue with the control **** , not switching , or the vacuum motors leaking .

 

it is the ac heater door assy parts are about $45.00 for the assy its about 4hr job the dash assy must be pulled i see about 2 a week on are dr trucks for the last 2 yrs
