Wifey made a big batch the other night. Said I'd have enough left over for lunch and maybe supper the next day.

She was very very wrong.

Especially like it with a good healthy dose of habenero (sp) or tobasco.

By the way, she serves it with homemade cathead biscuits.

Thanks alot, now I'm hungry and stuck at work.

Ed

In that case I won't tell you why it was I was sitting here so happy about it. I use our big serving platter for my plate when I have it at supper time.

Just called the wife and asked for a quick "care package". I think I must have stepped in something that smells bad and is gooey. She said NO

I remember that was the only cuss word I ever heard my dad say and he would state "this s--- on the shingle will stay with you boys thru supper so eat up we have a hard days work ahead of us" I have not had any in years, I am going to have to see that my wife learns how to make it. Thanks for the memory, Goodluck,,Rick

I'll take you up on it 1st week of January. The Mrs. is from outside Richmond, and we go down and visit her folks the first full week after New Years.

When I was a kid we called it DVOT (Dog Vomit). Mom loved it when we said that about her cooking.

Love chipped beef gravy, don't get it too often mom loves that sausage gravy. That doesn't sit well with me but it makes CB gravy taste twice as good.
