I'm trying to get a dealer to locate a 04 with a 555. Can anyone give me an idea of what I need to tell the dealer to search for? Last build date or something? He and the sales manager thought all 04s where 600s. If your at a lot can you tell by the window sticker?

Pretty sad dealer! any truck built before January is a 555 if its not a california SO.

 

Also....the sticker states that it is a Cummins "600". Have the dealer look under the hood for the 325 HP on the Valve Cover and the fan shroud connected to the engine instead fo the radiator...if those are there, 600.

If it's ion stock, it is probably a 305/555.

One of the dealerships here have about 50 305/555 trucks....as long as you don't want a dually!

slttork, not sure where your at but here in NJ there are a bunch of 555's still hanging around.check out dodge.com for dealers and you can look at the the trucks that are out there.

 

Look at the invoice. If it is a diesel and doesn't show a separate price for the diesel, it's a 600.
