Has anyone done a total air-ride suspension on their truck?

I did a search and found a couple of companies that offer a total kit that replaces all the suspension components with airbags and training links.

The comments from folks that have done it are very good.

Seems the trucks ride "like cadillacs" once the system is installed.

I'm thinking about removing the factory heavy overload spring and maybe one of the leaves and installing a Firestone airbag assist system......

You will get bad axle wrap if you do that, you should be able to get away with it if you add traction bars to keep the rear end in place.

Was over in Tenn talking to a guy who had a 97 Dodge 3500 with air in 4 corners.His doing air was the fact that he would have to sell out of business of hauling VW's for his son.He has a spine problem to the point that he cant drive any thing that does not have a comfy ride.Got to take a ride with him and all I got say is wow what a big difference.Hes got over a million miles on his truck and hes had no problems.If I get the money yes I'll get a air system on my truck.
