Remove rear panel behind back seat in Mega Cab

Has anyone removed the panel behind the back seat in a Mega Cab? How do those plastic hooks come off and what all else do you have to remove? I'm worried about breaking trim pieces. Thanks.

It's fairly easy to get all the trim pieces off, they're just held on with a few screws and spring clips. You will need a large Torx or star bit to remove the upper seat belt anchors. The rear panel is held in place by the hooks you mentioned, and they open up to reveal the screw that holds them in place. You'll also need to remove the rear storage boxes if you want to remove the rear panel completely. I didn’t want to mess with removing the rear boxes, and I was able to simply flex the panel inward enough to get access to the rear window motor to work on it.

Here's a link to the instructions for installing the power rear sliding window, and it gives you a good visual description on how to remove the rear panel:Rear Slider
