so I got an '03 3500 4x4 drw crew cab this week and it has a problem....if you start the truck and then open the driver door- the alarm goes off. I did this when starting truck to warm it up prior to taking son to school and I have to start by way of passenger door. when I go to leave and open driver door- alarm goes off. tried hitting the key fob to turn off and no luck. have to shut truck off and get in , shut door and then start. driving me nuts.....is there any way to remove all this alarm crap? I don't care if it has door unlock remote or not. it is gonna be my "beater truck" and work around truck and don't care for or need remote doors. I live in the hill country of texas and we aint used to cold.....gotta start the truck in the morning when its 30 degrees to warm up for my kiddo.

 

Hasta be a fuse somewhere?
