My factory alarm "tamper warning" has been triggered almost every day for last couple of weeks. It beeps the horn three times when you unlock door after it has been triggered. I'm sure It hasn't been messed with, any ideas on what is setting it off ??? I guess it could be a bad alarm component. I've have the truck for a year and 10K and it's the only problem other than squeaky brakes I've had(knock on wood).

 

so does mine. apparently it's in the DNA.

 

I also have the same issue. Lock the doors with the door auto lock, exit doors and lock behind. In the morning, go to open door with factory key and door alarm goes off and headlight blink. What a pain, bought the truck used had no remotes.

But get this, if you open the door with the key from the passengers side then unlock the doors with the door switch, then open the driver side door, no alarm?? Go figure???...

If anyone has any ideas, I sure would like to know what the resolve is??
