Valet 554R for $235. I bought one for my wifes truck also, they say I can program my remote to arm /disarm or remote start both vehicles. Thats really cool! You can find it for $180 bucks on Ebay but that does not come with installation instructions or any tech support so I paid a little more since I've never installed one before.

Thats almost exactly the same as the Valet 554r. They are both made by Directed Electronics. Check out www.Alarms.com I think their dealers can only sell certain brands which is why I cant get a Clifford or Viper system and install it myself. I saw down at the bottom of the page that they have to do the install themselves.

 

yeah, they have to do the install. I guess the govt or the manufacturer does'nt want everyone and thier bro knowing how to disable it.
