Re-New your Spray in Bed Liner.

I Painted over my faded rhino lining. I used Rustoleum Gloss Enamel. I will see if it lasts a lot longer than the rattle cans Walmart brand I used a few years back. Here are the before and after pics.

It was really easy to do and I will keep you posted on how it holds up. BTW I used a Wagner sprayer, and took the extra time to mask everything off (took a long time compared to the 15 minutes of actual painting). Have a good one.

Can't see this lasting very long, the paint will probably scratch off the bed liner just as it would on any other surface when ya slide stuff across it. Does it seem like things will slide across it easier now then before? I like the fact that stuff for the most part stays put without having to use bungee cords or anything,

Rhino liner sells stuff to restore the liner, I have some at home I'll check the name of it later, might work a little better for next time..

That would be great. I don't haul anything in it to scratch it up so I was looking for a cheap coat for the winter. I had some rust spots on my hitch rails and wanted to protect those and had some extra paint. It is all aesthetic at his point, and will ook into the other stuff next summer.

I actually plan on getting a canopy soon, and this will look good underneath it. I am a teacher and baby this truck, but haul our 5th wheel quite a bit year round to camp. It is an overkill for me to drive it year round but I can't complain about the mpg and the room for my kids. My wife was the one who picked it and I think she loves driving it just as much as I do, especially on the sand at the beach. I just wish it got the mpg her Prius does. Thanks again for your help and have a good one.

Here is that bottle of stuff I was talking about. Claims to help with oxidation and fading, and that it will dry to the original color of the liner. Forgive the crappy pic used my phone that's currently being held together via clear box tape.

If you wish you got better mileage I'll gladly switch trucks with you for a week! Haha I get 16.5 on a pretty flat highway rolling along with traffic. That will get you to appreciate what ya have haha.. I don't have a diesel though, but an 08 gas Silverado with the 5.3 and a 4 speed.

OP, glad you are happy with the refresh on the bedliner. But I also think you might see it chip. Obviously use has a lot to do with it but the weather might too. Anyway, keep us updated how it progresses. It might pleasantly surprise us on the results long term.

My equally equipped Cummins averages several mpg clicks higher than my 350 ever bested

UPDATE: After using the truck for a few loads of river rock, camping firewood, and other crap the paint is still looking brand new. I did buy a canopy a few months back, so it will keep even better, but no fading or chipping after a year exposed to the elements. I would do this again.
