Anyone experience a rattle in the gas pedal? Mine rattles or vibrates with the cruise on and the only way I can make it stop is to put my toe under it.<br><br>Just wondered if anyone else had experienced this?<br><br>Thanks

 

Interesting. I too have noticed a slight &quot;rattle&quot; sound when cruising...but I thought it was the diesel engine knocking. ???

 

No noise from mine and I use the cruise a lot. Will take extra notice next time I am cruising.

 

Yep, I have the rattle. It seems to be a common problem.

 

Mine did it this weekend, first time. It rattles worse under load. You can just set your foot on the pedal and rattle goes away. My wife could not even hear it on her side of the truck - - and she accuses me of not hearing real good. ???

 

Mine does it as well. Has from day one... [undecided] Seems to me I remember there being something on the GEN-II forums about this a while back, as I posted about my 2001 doing it, too. It was a common problem, and I think there was a TSB out for it? ???Try searching over there and let us know what you find out.

 

someone on TDR posted how they fixed it a few weeks ago.<br>I remember something about a rubberband wrapped around the ball and socket where the throttle cable attaches under the hood.<br><br>mine does it too, and my wife can hear it too :P
