Radio Short in 2006 Dodge

I have a 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 with the regular single disc CD Player not infinity's..... The other day I noticed that the radio screen cut off no lights and the sound stopped for about 2 seconds it did this twice....... Does anyone no what could have caused this I have pulled my Banks Six Gun to take it into the dealer (who said nothing was wrong) since then it has not done it but I see no way the Six Gun could have been the problem any ideas??????? Oh ya all other lights odemeter etc... stayed lit just radio and speakers any ideas what caused this thanks....

in one of the F450's at work the radio unit did the same to us. we had it replaced under warrenty when it finally stopped all together. gotta love those electrical gremlins. good luck getting it fixed. worse case i guess you could upgrade with the good stuff.

I would highly doubt it. When manufacturing a couple hundred thousand of anything, and due to tolerance stacking in electronics specifically, some radios will be bad and have to be replaced. Good luck!
