Once that clear coat get a rub or scratch in it, it doesn't come out.....

Trust me, don't park next to a fire hidrant & forget about it - the scratches won't come out. I didn't break the hidrant, but it left some mighty fine scratches & broke my center cap.

I've tried polishing mine up where I got the small rub marks on them and it doesn't work. They are not noticeable but I wish I could get rid of them...

When I had my new tires mounted I got two rims with scuffs on them now. Happened around 3000 miles - I was pretty Pisd. What you gonna do tho? And no they definately don't come off

How about the chrome plated P O S's

I have the chrome plated aluminum wheels and had 315's put on. The tire machine peeled the chrome off. The dealership ordered new wheels for me but what happens next time I need new tires or get a flat?????

Thumbs up

I have the chrome wheels too and they didnt get any damage when I had the 295s put on. Id make sure they use a "no touch" tire installer.
