H2 Rims Polished Edges Blacked Out Inlays

Hey guys,
Somewhere on this website I came across somebody's pictures of their Hummer Rims. The guy painted the inner surfaces black and left the outer faces either polished or chromed. I have spent several hours on here trying to find those pictures again, but I have not had any luck. I have tried searches, but it hasn't brought me back to that picture. I was thinking about trying to find a set of Hummer H2 wheels. I am going back and forth between the chromed ones and the standard polished aluminum with gray painted inlays. I like the chromed ones but the prices I am seeing are getting close to what I would pay for aftermarket rims. I can't remember if the picture I saw on here were chromed wheels with the inlays painted black or if they were polished with the inlays painted black. I have been looking on Ebay for the hummer rims. Anybody have a better place to look? I have been seeing the chromed wheels for $500 to $600 shipped. But I found some Americans that I liked for $800 shipped. So it looks like I would only save $200 by going with the H2's? Is this the price you guys are paying? It lookes like you could get into a set of polished aluminum H2's for $300. I am just not sure if I would like this look on my truck? Shoot me your opinions, pictures, or info.
Thanks!

I have the Silver Satin H2 wheels on my truck, which were only like $250 shipped.

The pics above look like he used double lug nuts rather than trimming the caps judging by how far they stick out(?)

satin H2's

I think if you go with the satin's,it'll be easier to customize.

2007 or 2008 Wheels

Anybody out there blacked out the inlays on the new style rims? I like the newer style. I am thinking about trying to find a good set of these. I thought that these would probably look good with blacked out inlays.

You can get the 08's with a grey inlay already from the factory, they look pretty good.

If your going to black them out then get the polished wheels as they are already painted on the inner portion of the wheel.
Watch craigslist for wheels/tires as this is where I've found my deals.
I was planning on doing the blackout on mine, but I ran across a chrome set with tires and payed $300. I then purchased another 2 tires (never touched the pavement) of which 1 was mounted on a brand new polished wheel for $175.00 and I use this one as a spare tire.

I allready have a set and I was thinking I would like the black inlays better. the face of the spoke's and the outer ring are a machine finnish but the inner part is, well I think a satin color with what is looks like a clear finish on it. I was thinking I would have to rough up that part to get the paint to stick better.
