question for the fuel gurus

Just how long will the American public put up with the rising cost of fuel? It seems we are like lemmings, we just follow along and pay whatever the price is. Myself included. I think everybody realizes it is "big business" doing the price increasing, and the government folks let it happen, for whatever reason .
Without some kind of resistance, there will be no end to this. I know, we all have to make a living driving to work, etc. But somehow, we have to take a stand. Somehow we have to say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!
