Eddie Bauer seat here - no problems in the middle of the back seat. It is a bigger seat that holds up to ~85 pounds or something... I wouldn't mind the in cab space of a Mega - but I wanted the 8ft Bed.... it is all in preference. The QC does have more room than the ext cab chevy, but less room than the crew.

I have both in the driveway. The Mega (loaded) is like an entirely different truck than the standard (no options) quad cab. I now get claustrophobic in the quad cab

How do you like those Coopers?

How much was that leveling kit?

Love the tires...they ride quiet and do well both on and off road. They have more of a higway tread than the BFG's. Most of my driving is on pavement and pulling our fifth wheel. I purchased the leveling kit from topguncustomz.com I believe I paid $101 with shipping.

I've owned both. . . and I can make but one suggestion. . . sit in the back seat of a quad for 3 or 4 hours sometime. . . you will buy the mega. The seats in the quad are just enough to say they are seats.

Something a lot of people don't consider: The Quad actually has more usable passenger seats (6)!

Because of the HVAC ducts on the tunnel, the front-center seat of the Mega is useless for anything other than a child-safety seat (and that is arguable as you are not supposed to put those in the front seat of a vehicle). it boils down to comfort (and $) vs. utility I guess.

I bought a QC short bed because I didn't want to deal with the LOOOONNNGGGG turning radius of the longer wheelbase. My brother bought a new Mega at the same time I bought my truck (we got a great deal for buying two trucks). The Mega is huge in back - more comfortable in back than in front in fact. That said, if I had to do it all over again, I'd still buy the QC SB. THe back seat is big enough for up to average sized adults - plenty large for kids.

I actually like riding in the back of the Mega better than the front...... Although it could be the novelty I've only got to ride back there once, It realy is a "Mega-Limo"

I wasn't sold on the Mega Cab idea until I went and saw them.........

Go check it out, if it were me I'd buy the Mega again.

Some acquanitences that work for one of the major vehicle auction house have sugested that the Dodge Mega Cab will have supperior resale value as compared to oher makes, models and configuartions.

It doesn't bother me not to have any leg room in the back. I always sit in the drivers seat.

Having driven both, the long wheel base is more than I want or need. Mine's going to go off road once in a while.
