Punk theives!!

Well I was staying at a hotel out of town this week while working. Thursday night some punk hammered a screwdriver into my doorlock and tried to pry the handle off the truck. They didn't suceed but now my door is pretty f'd up. Lock and handle are trash and hanging off the door and the sheet metal around it is gonna need some body work. Non the lest I'm pretty ****** off about the whole thing but starting to get over it. Just been sitting at home today cleaning my guns.

Alot of *** hats out there. Sorry to here about your truck. Had something pretty crappy just happen to me, while i was driving around. Had a car in front of me intentionally turning slow and so I honked at him. Kid in the backseat flips me off which bugs me but whatever. I drive into the parking lot and the car stops in the middle of the road. Kid gets out wanting to go around so i show him my night stick and he still wants to go around. I just sit in the car waiting for him to hit my truck. Of course my good friend sitting next to me is like ***. I didnt even stop at the mall we were wanting to go into fearing the little ankle biters would key my truck or worse. Got a spare gun?

i had the same thing happen to me. a lot of damage was done, but they didn't even take anything!!! luckily it was covered under comprehensive but it still cost me $100 which i didn't need to spend. i'm glad insurance covered it because the total was about $1200 with the other minor damage to the truck.

i now have these behind the plastic door handles:

and am going to order and install a Ravelco soon.

I know how you feel, somebody smashed my window last night (actually it was between 5:30 and 6:30 PM) and stole a gym bag (mostly covered by towel, they probably thought I was trying to hide something) and my Quad Commander. The window cost $150 to fix, and I'm out 300-350 for the commander (actually more since I got the fuel pressure kit) They just ripped all the wires out. Broad daylight on a busy street, but it's kind of isolated from houses because of a golf course on one side, and a tall cinder block fence on the other.
I just pxxxx's me off that somebody would do that (smash and grab, jerk and tear my stuff) Whatever penalties there are for car burglary, they are not enough.
I need to get one of those Ravelcos- if they got the whole truck then I really would be upset.

I would ask the Hotel for the security camera tapes to see if they can find anything!!

When I travel I park near the front door. If the company is paying and I have stayed there before I ask for a reserved spot near the front door. Most places ( because it is a company account, read repeat business ) will accomodate.
