Pulls to the right

Since I have had my truck, it has always pulled a bit to the right (have to hold the wheel a bit to the left to track straight). Per the Les Schwab tech, this is a common problem and an alignment doesn't usually fix this (he offered this info before I even mentioned the problem, so I'm guessing they've seen it before). He mentioned offset ball joints as a possible solution - I'm not too familiar with that.

Long story short, I had my ball joints replaced at a shop on the road last summer because the front end had to be disassembled to replace a failing u-joint. No change in the front-end pull with the new joints. I didn't know about the offset joints then. I do have a steering box stabilizer which really tightened up the front end and steering feel. I don't have any wobble right now, just a bit vibration at 70 mph +, but not that noticeable.

Does anyone have any ideas how to make the truck track straight? It seems to be worsening since I've owned the truck despite the new components.

Have you changed the tires or rotated them? I have found that the tires will be the main reason it will pull to one side or the other.

None of my Dodges have ever pulled any direction. You might rotate the tires, then get find a new shop

Rotating the tires is a good idea, but might not get rid of the pull. My 05, went into the alignment shop and ended up having all the ball joints replaced with xrf. He told me all the dodges pull to the right. I didn't think my did but maybe I got used to a slight pull? They recommended the offset joints.
He said the crown in the local roads makes the truck want to go to the right. Since I only use my truck once a year for vacation I decided not to do the offset ball joint. If yours is a daily driver I would say do it.

It's been rotated and aligned a couple of times. I am running 295 70 R17 Toyo M/T's but I know several people on here and locally running the same size/same tire without a problem. It pulled to the right before the new ball joints - that might not have been clear. So I wasn't surprised when it still did with the new ones. I was just wondering if there are other possible (cheaper) solutions other than going with the offset joints.

My 04 3500 pulls to the right like thats its job in life. It absolutely drives me nuts. I've had two different shops align it and re align it and rotate the tires. Theres new ball joints under it about a year ago when I bought it. I was wondering if it was something with the power steering or gear box. Sorry to say, but I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one with this issue. Nobody has been able to help me out with this, I'm going to do some research on these offset ball joints.

A few questions. Do you have a leveling kit? Do you have an adjustable track rod?

My 95 Ram has done the right drift since I bought it new. I have the wheel turned slightly left as I go down the road. Always assumed it was the crown of the road. Doesnt pull to the right when I hit the brakes or anything.

Havent noticed my 2005 2500 doing it like my 95 has all these years.

Most Toyo MT users experience a right pull. A pressurized steering stabilizer will correct it. Carli and Thuren offer them.

Many Nitto Terra Grappler users report a slight left drift. Carli offers an opposing ss setup for those owners.

MY 2.0 Fox ss is pressurized to 150# in order to correct the Toyo MT pull I experience.
When I return to AT's next time around,I deflate it to maybe 75#.

I can't explain your right pull prior to the MT's.
