pulls to the right

I know this has been talked about before, but I want to start fresh and see what we can find.
My 03 has pulled insistently to the right since mile one, and it seems to be a common complaint. I don't want to go dump cash into an alignment just to have it do the same thing. Does anyone have any ideas about what this might be?

Re:pulls to the right

There has been a few of us voice our gripes about pulling to the right. Mine did it pretty darn bad let go of the wheel and it would take of like it wanted to turn right by itself. Went and spent $50 for alignment.Fixed it and drives true now. How many miles u have on your truck? Reason I asked my tires were wearing bad, much rather spend few bucks now than have to spend couple hundred on tires

Re:pulls to the right

Had just 100 miles on mine and complained to dealer. He sent it out to have aligned. The alignment techs said it was all withing specs, but since it still pulled they shimmed it to correct for the crown in road. Its better now but on some roads still pulls. There explaination is with the 4 rear wheels and geometry of the truck it will naturally follow the crown. Most all roads are crownedd so unless we drive on the wrong side of the road????

Only have 500 miles so havent noticed if tires are wearing okay or not yet.

Mine pulled to the right too. I took it to the dealer and told them to fix it. It took 2 times in there, but it's way better now. Good luck

Re:pulls to the right

Take the right tire off and put on the left and visa versa. This will elimate the radial tire pull you may have. If it still pulls, see the man. I had to raise the caster angle on the right side to finally get rid of it. The first time I did have a tire problem.

Re:pulls to the right

Thanks guys,
Seems to be a common problem. It's beyond me why they would send so many vehicles out this way. My truck already has 4300 miles on it, so I figure I'm on my own as far as alignment is concerned. Dave, I'll try the tire thing first, thanks.
