My 04.5 pulls to the right, but they all do!

New to this forum. Wow what an improvement over my previous first choice!

When I bought my truck(used) it pulled to the right. I just got new wheels and tires and thought an alignment would fix the problem. The "Expert" told me it wasn't out of alignment Then why the pull? They all do it he said(funny, the two I had before, both lifted 5 and 8 inches never did it) he looked in his book and said a "fix" was not yet avalible. BS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Has any one else had this problem or any like it?

yep. My 600 has always pulled to the right. I've inflated the right side tires to 60psi and the left to 50psi. it helped, but has not cured it.
My shop dude is a little slow, and he has a BS answer for everything so I haven't even tried to have them fix this one yet.

Mine pulls to the right but every once in a while I drive down the left side of the road and it pulls equally to the left. At least with mine I think it's just sensitive to the crown in the road. Our Durango doesn't do it but my previous four Cummins powered Rams did. My '95 was the worst. Did the tire and alignment thing too. Didn't change a thing. So now I just ignore it.

Mine did too when i bought it used, dealer sent it out came back still pull to right, so I took it to the five star dealer and he said truck would not fit on his machine .
Took it to local tire store I have dealed with and they said they could not get it to align and charged me So I took it to the local 4x4 shop which is very pricey to go too, but there align guy does know what he is doing, Right no more it drove straight down road!

You will have to find someone who knows the cam adjusts on that frontend and knows what there doing with that type of alignment.

Good Luck!

Thanks for the help! The "expert" did tell me it wouldn't affect trie wear so I'll do like the rest and ignore it.

I was told most vehicles with a solid axle will favor the crown in the road where as independant front will lessen it. It does make sence, since most roads have a crown to them.

That's the drawback to internet forums. They can easily make us "hypersensitive" to "characteristics" of our trucks that we would normally pay no attention to.
I occasionally still see Fords running around with the torque converter sounding like someone dragging a shovel down a gravel road. Apparently the owner is deaf or ignorant to the problem of the TC in the R4100 or whatever the tranny was called back then. Or maybe they're just happy they're running...

LOL........my truck does the same thing! I took it to the tire shop just the other day and they said it was in spec, who's spec? hehhe guess I'll have to take it to the (good) 4x4 shop. My kids ext cab Chevy with 12" under it and 38's drives straight as a arrow, but it took em half a day to get it that way and $80.

This post is kinda funny yet errks me at the same time.

I had a pull to the right in mine also since new. I took it in for a passenger side window issue as I approached 36K (last warranty trip before deductable kicks in). I had them check the alignment. They said it was off slightly, adjusted it for $40 and now it is better.

Nope...mine doesn't. But if the road is unlevel then its going to drift to the lowest side. Everything rolls down hill ya know!

Move the cam bolt on the passenger side out a quarter of a notch(or the drivers side in a quarter). Worked on mine. No abnormal tire wear. Very easy to do.
