Projection headlights!

I just installed a HID kit in my 06 3500 Ram (H13), and frankly they suck! Other than a bluish tint, not at all better than stock halogens, especially on hi beam, where there is almost no difference between hi and lo on the HID's!! Is there a aftermarket projection headlights that don't have that gay looking "halo" around them? Looked on Ebay, but wasn't successful. Also pretty pricy too!! Any help would be appreciated!! Thanks!!

Well coming from a guy that has some of those "gay looking halos" (and likes them), why don't you just not wire the halo's to come on????

No offence meant on that comment! Are they a plug and play application? Does the halo wire in, or is it a plug? Thanks!!

None taken, I was just giving you trouble ... You have to splice the wires into the the harness if you want the halo's and leds to light up, so just take them and wire wrap them out of the way... I don't know if you have much luck finding anything else, I was always told that HID's in non-HID housings really didn't work very well, but I honestly don't know... Good luck with which ever direction you go...

Just installed HID's in my non HID housing, and am not terribly impressed: They are bright, and I am going to adjust the headlights, to see if that makes a difference!

I have 8k HID's in my stock housings and love them. Hi beams suck because they are off center but I don't need them with my low beams on.
