Any one have issues with the factory Sirrius radio? Two days ago I started my truck and the radio clock had re-set. No known power interuptions to the radio or truck in general. All my FM band presets were still in memory but my Sirrius presets had been lost. Then when I tried to change Sirrius channels it would go from channel 1 to channel 107. Above channel 107 it hit every channel to 185 but would never tune to anything between 1 and 107. Today I have only channel 185 on Sirrius. It will not change up or down from that one channel.

I'll call the dealer when I have the oportunity but if any one else has experienced this and found an easy fix please let me know.

 

When channel 185 is the only channel you get that usually means your subscription has run out.

 

I had the same problem with mine. Subscription was good. I disconnected the batteries, after both batteries were disconnected, I touched the ground to the hot cable to help discharge and currents. hooked them back up had sirrius reset the signal

 

yup this morning... all my preset stations were set to 1 and one to 187. a few minutes later all my presets went back as they were....


Weird. Glad it isnt just my truck freaking out.

 

Hmmm, I'm seeing a trend here.

My subscription was up today but it had been paid previously and verified last night that payment had been received. Was told no problem. This morning, I went out and had Ch 1 and 184.

15 minutes wasted on the phone and everything was back in line. I find it odd though that it happened to so many people today, however.

It also happened to me yesterday morning. That happens when they update the channels. Just give it a few minutes and turn it off and back on and it should be all right.

It did it to me also yesterday morning just as mentioned above chanel 1 and 184. I've had sirius for 5 years in different vehicles and I've never seen it do what it did yesterday. I called sirius and while I was on hold it said updating chanels and everything returned. wierd???

 

Same thing happened to me yesterday morning. Sirius did a channel update so it took a few minutes for the download to be completed.

Is there a free subscription with a vechile purchase? I just bought an 07 dodge and Sirruis works but I didn't activate it.

 

mine did the same thing tuss. morn channel 1 & 185 but going home all presets were back to normal. 08 2500 4x4 SLT Bighorn

 

Yeah same thing happened to me, someone activated it already so your 1 year subscription isn't gonna be a year for you that is.

 

Back to normal this morning. Thanks for the information about channel updating causing this issue. Does your clock on the radio change when the updates are done by Sirrius? That would seem to be something else and should not be affected by Sirrius.
