Powe Wagon spotted

I was at my dealer the other day and saw a Power Wagon behind the service area..not on the lot. I didn't get a close look but I did notice it was a short bed Hemi. Looked like it had fairly tall tires too. Other than that, I couldn't see too much.

33" tires, winch, lockers, fender flares, slight lift, electronic disconnecting sway bar

my dealer had one for about 2 weeks before it was sold for a hefty price.

What is a power wagon. Apparently I've missed out on some info along the way.

Dodge's 3/4 ton off road pick-up. Pretty comprehensive off-road package for a production truck. Check it out Power Wagon

Sailpipes, I just saw your photo of the headlight switch harness wire tap for gauges. It helped a bunch. Thanks!

I saw a Power Wagon at the Texas State Fair, last Fall, and sat in it. It does have a slight lift and some aftermarket type shocks on it. The main thing is the 4.56 rear end gear ratio, built in winch and side "protection" bars. It was pretty, no doubt about it. I do believe you can get it in a manual or auto, but so far......only with the hemi.

I bet with the 4.56 gear it gets pretty thirsty for normal highway cruising. But, in 4 low......you better watch out.......It will jump. Imagine what that thing could pull with the Cummins in it.

Haven't seen a Power Wagon yet, but my dealer has a Solar Yellow SRT 10 Reg cab in his showroom. I sat in it.

If I had a spare 50Gs................ .

He also has a , get this, REGULAR cab 3500 dually, with a Hemi, with leather. ??????Don't know if it was auto or not, but he doesn't do that many HD trucks, so I'm thinking this HAD to be a special order. I can't see my dealer stocking that "oddball" combo. The field was muddy, so I couldn't go look at the sticker.

I drove one last month before I bought the CTD--nice truck except that all of the ones in the DFW area at that time did not have leather (some do now) and I did not care for the Hemi. Very hard on the fuel with the foot I have!

I considered one, but it seems they are not available in a diesel or with a nice interior, too bad, seem like it would nice with a CTD.

As of now it's only being offered with an auto but late availability will offer the manual... if they keep that idea.
