Please HELP!!

I took my truck in to get all new rotors and pads and i also told him that a U-Joint or two might be out because of the squeaking and the vibrations. Well it got a call back the next day and he said that is was my front wheel Joints and they dont have just a new joint you have to buy whole new shafts and he was throwing around numbers like 4 and 500 for each one, along with one of my wheel bearings so do any of you know where i could get these cheaper than that or know if his info is accurate, anything helps thanks in advance.

Where the heck did you take it to? Napa has u-joints like for 45 bucks or so. Heck....the dealer even has u-joints available!

They way he was talking you had to buy two whole new shafts to go in the front...and that was without labor...

Both u-joints, labor and all shouldn't be more than about 500 Total! Do a search on here.......they aren't that hard to change and there are tons of tips on how to do it.
