Blacked Out Like This??????....

This was a 05 Laramie SLT that had all the Chrome and a Bright Silver painted bottom.Headlights were also taken apart and blacked out also to add to the effect. The only things that are not Blacked out are the side door emblems(which were left on purpose)and the toolbox in the bed which houses my two Viair constant duty compressors and the two 8 gallon air tanks which are needed to feed my Nathan K5LA's.Over the winter we are going to remove the boxes components and the stacks and have the bed and box shot with a liner for next years show season.I am also going to have the lower rocker panels shot as the big tires are tossing up too much crap and chipping the bottom too much and it was prepped to prevent that from happening.

Hope this helps some for you.

They should offer a srt6 / Harley "Night train" style truck just like that one. It is gorgeous. Smarty and stack included, of course.

Thanks for the kind words......

Its still a work in progress and I have switched it to the new Smarty SSR so we still have alot of tuning yet to go.I have gotten it to 753hp on fuel and 1105hp with a small shot of giggle gas and I know there is alot more in the SSR left yet as we have only scratched the surface of its capabilities.

Dodge did offer a darkened truck from the factory in 06 called the "Night Runner" but it was only available as a gasser that I have ever seen.

Mine is a 2005 SLT also. The grill and bumper were painted and the cab lights are smoked Recon lights. I still need to do the headlights.

Nice looking trucks! I have the regular chrome bumper and grill. I was thinking about taking and getting it black chromed. I already have black chromed Aussie stacks and black rims.

Here is my 04.5 blacked out. It's rolling on black H2's and 35'' GY Duratracs. I solved the front end being black problem with a Ranchhand deer strainer. It was completely blacked out except for a chrome "C" on the tailgate, but I later added 1998 2nd gen "sport" emblems on the doors for a touch of red. The cab lights are Recons and the headlights I think are called "eagle eyes"...blacked out.
