I ordered my new Dodge 2500 January the 20th. Got my order and vin # today. Dealer said it would be here in the week of Feb.25th. This is my frist new truck and frist dodge truck.
Flame red, 2500 HO, CTD, 4x4, QC, 48RE, Laramie,anti-spin dif and other options.

If RHC gets his truck before me, I'm really going to be pi$$ed ! The factory must have have stopped making 6 speed trucks to build all these dang automatics &gt; <br><br>Ok I vented now - i'll be allright for another 10 minutes or so...<br><br>I did mention i would be the new whiner back when I ordered

 

I ordered my truck 1/06/03. I called DC Wednesday and they tell me the order is D status for the second week in a row. The dealer I ordered from easily has the largest selection of trucks on the lot in my immediate area and I thought it was a good thing buying from a dealer that moved a lot of trucks. I don't understand why the order isn't moving along but I will try to be patient. Also, the service rep who took my call was very rude. He told me I should be calling the dealership and not him to check on order status. He continued that he didn't like having to do the dealers job. I will continue to call the same number but I hope I don't get this guy again. The other service reps were very friendly.

 

My experience is placing calls to the DC order line status line have been very positive. Every one that I talked to encouraged me to call again.<br><br>Don't let one individual who was probably having a bad day prevent you from calling again.

 

Very interesting, I've called the D/C customer service line twice to enquire about my order. Got different ladies eacht time and kind of got the same treatment as drafter. They both seemed pretty put out about having to check the status and both made statements that I should be checking with the dealer instead of them.

 

LoneRanger I just bought mine 2 days and got 2.9 locally.

Called Dodge today, my truck will be shipped this weekend or early next week. He (the person at the other end of the phone) said to allow up to 10 days for deliverly at my dealership. Which will put it in the time frame of what my salesman told me. ;D Getting harder to sleep at nights <br>Ordered 1/20/03 i was told that the real order date was 1/21/03 or rather the build start date was 1/21/03. <br>Was told to call every day if i wanted to by this person on the phone.

 

I ordered 12/31/02<br><br>Truck is in and I pick it up tomorrow. I can't belive it went so fast. I have a 1000 mile drive home to break it in. I am not sure I will sleep tonight.

Last I heard mine was schedualed to ship 2/7...but I have my doubts about that ! <br><br>Dang, that really gives me a case of the red butt &gt;<br><br>OK - I've vented again...I'm OK now. Congrats RLS (dirty sucker) enjoy the new ride.<br><br>Mister impatient.
