Ordered an 05, Some ?s
Hello...
I just ordered an 05 and I am excited to get it!
It is a 2500 Reg Cab Laramie 4x4 w/ 48RE and almost every option.
I was wondering what the availability of rear wheel well liners is on the 3rd gen trucks. I bought the liners at the parts counter for my 02 and I wouldn't consider being without them. Will they come stock on the 05 or is there an accessory part available?
Also, how long did it take to get your truck for those that have ordered recently?
Finally, what are the recommendations for mudflaps? I have the molded Mopar flaps currently on the 02 and am pretty happy with them. They seem to scuff the paint a bit, but i don't plan on ever taking them off so that doesn't matter too much.
Any advice or part numbers would be great
Thanks

The rear wheel inner fender liners run about $80 from the dealer. As far mud flaps personnally I would get the long rubber mud flaps, DC sells some of those and of course the molded ones but they don't go down far enough to do any good IMO.
You can get part #'s and price from the DC web page for Dodge. Just look at the accessories area and see what they carry.

so, is there anything actually new or different when you ordered the 05 vs the 04.5?
I probably have pics of mud flaps, I like the chrome on the bottom. Put the liners on first, then the mud flaps.

The only appearance difference I noticed was the lettering on the tailgate is different. The only option difference on my particular truck was the availability of adjustable pedals. However, it looks like they are not available to be installed yet because they gave me a credit for them.

Ram,
Was there an option for those new rock runners that are on the side of the '05 Power Wagons? Looks like a cool option for a four wheeler. I'm hoping to get some for my '04. Thanks,
Wetspirit
