Yea, then you'll get:
17 babied, 10 all out, 17 highway, 16 hauling 5,000#.
(just kidding drew)

Do the tone ring mod, it is possible you'll get 19 babied...

So whats R E A L L Y wrong with 17mpg. I love my 17.6+/- . Especially because our durango only gets 18-20 and my old 6cyl GMC was only 19.

I'm getting 20 highway 22 around town on the overhead. I get 20 calculated for a full tank with mostly 80% highway driving. I drive it pretty normally. My truck is completely stock.

The only time I have noticed lower mileage unloaded was when I ran a tank of Biodiesel. That got me 17 calculated.

Ditto, 17-18 avg. highway and city even with the triple dog. The overhead is pretty accurate on my truck if don't reset it and let it average the mileage of the whole tank or trip.

Just came back from a trip and only got 11.9 mpg. A few big inclines towing a 30' gooseneck with only 2.5 ton of steel. I suppose it could be worse, a buddy of mine is getting 9 mpg loaded with his powerstroke.

True Story....

We added a BIG FUEL PUMP and 1/2 inch lines to an 04 and it jumped up to 19 mpg. It was running 15 mpg.

Hand calculated(thats for the enevitable"you have to calculate it by hand because the computer is usually wrong" crowd)

04 4x4 auto,Turbonetics Twins,TST,Helix cam, Don's pressure box, ect

19 mpg!!!!!!!

oh forgot to mention....325 50 22 tires and 3 inches of lift
