Thumbs down No Almond Pearl Metallic available on 3500's

I am finally ready to seriously look at a Dodge and the dealer tells me you can not order Almond Pearl Metallic in a Dually. I don't get it, when one dealer earlier in the year told me that Almond was the best selling color, but never realized it was not available in a one ton. I think a dually would be beautiful in that color.

You can't get it in a dually, but you can in a SRW 3500. My 3500 was Almond as is my new 2500. I really like the color.

I Agree! Although my Almond truck hasn't gotten here yet I have seen some at dealers and it's a nice color!

This is a WAG, but I'd say it has something to do with paint matching the fenders to the rest of the body. When I had my ding repaired (see my gallery ) The paint guy said it was a nightmare to duplicate the pearlesent color. He had to shoot two thirds up the rear panel to blend the almond color into the original, and had a number of supplier colors to choose from depending on where it was being used; sides, roof, hood, etc.

Atlantic Blue isn't available either. I really wanted Graphite for my dually, but I went with red.

Same thing happened here when we went to order, first we tried Almond, then Graphite, then Atlantic Blue, then finally decided on Silver which should look good once we tint the windows black. Reminds me when a GM dealer (I know I admit it was a mistake) once told me "pick a color, any color" yeeah right, at that time there were only 3 trucks in Canada lol It was that week my 98 Dodge was bought and I never looked back

What a bummer, mine is 2 tone, silver on the bottom and the almond topside. I love the color!

Exactly... the "fancier" colors will look different when laid on steel vs. plastic. For that reason, duallies are only available in the six "basic" colors: White, silver, black, green, red, and blue.
