Nitto Terra Grapplers

I have been told that the 295-70-R17 Nitto Terra Grapplers are not released yet but I see them all over the websites....Does anyone have these yet and how do you like them? I really want to get a set, they are aggressive enough for me, shouldn't be too loud, and have a good weight rating.

I've got the 315/75/16 Nitto's and I really like them. They ride smooth. They are very quiet. I've got about 10k miles on them and they still look fairly new. Paid about $200/tire at Discount Tire.

Discount tires has them listed for $168+free shipping. I wonder how these tires compare to BFG AT/KOs for durability offroad?

I am not sure on these but have had Nittos on my Grand National for last few sets and absolutely love them for the $$ to value ratio.

I just bought them and love them. I will upload pics tonight if you want. A guy at work has them in a different size and has 45,000 on them and are looking worn and probably need to be replaced soon. They are quiet and look pretty aggressive. They fill the wheel well nicely and no rubbing....
I got mine at discount tire for the price above !!!!

I just bought a set of 5 from Discount for 840 (free shipping), they are the perfect compromise for me--I tow a lot, need good weight rating and don't want to kill my gear ratio too bad, yet want the look and offroad performance of the oversize AT tire. Just wasn't crazy about the 285 BFG ATKO. I think I should realize better mileage with the Nittos on my long highway runs with the lower rpms and also move my 2200 rpm drone up past my normal speed range. I plan to to rotate my spare in with mine to get the most out of them, but I will be happy with 50K out of them.

Talking

The 295's really look great, but how much of a hastle is it to get your speedo/odo and overhead recalibrated, this is really my only worry about going with a larger tire.

I am going to the dealer tuesday to get it done.. You need the pinion factor adjusted. The Revs per mile for this tire is 606, They can go into the computer and change it. It takes them about 10 minutes to do.
*****Mistake it is 625******

"The Revs per mile for this tire is 606"

The rev per mile for the Nitto 295/70R 17 is 624 according to the gear calculator.
