How many miles on the truck and what do they want for it? Sounds like what Im after, minus the gigantic lift.

RUN, don't walk away from that truck, for 40K, buy new, not someones experiment, 10" lift, lots of maintaining & cost to keep it running, not to mention poor mpgs.

i agree- run away! buy new or a slightly used stock 5.9-and do the build up your self- that way you know there isn't any hidden problems and you are intimate with every aspect of the truck!!

The factory rebuilt Turbo's all seem to be, or turn, brown really fast.

If I was going to spend 40k on a truck, I would get a new one and do my own mods and not hope someone else did it right. Oh, and welcome to DTR!

Hemi. Big tire, lift, and a Hemi. The fuel economy will be terrible!!! Get another CTD.
