Need new shocks for 2' leveling kit

I want to install the 2' leveling kit but I need longer front shocks. I have the Blue and Yellow Billsteins now but I didn't realize I needed longer ones with the lift kit. (DUHHH) Anyway, does anyone know a good deal on the longer front shocks needed for the 2 ' lift kit? I will sell the Billsteins later.

Thanks

My stock shocks seem to work well with the leveling kit??? Maybe you can find some shock extenders for your Bilsteins. I did a search but came up with nothing. It might be woth a call to Bilstein...Mike

Are you using the Factory shocks? I didn't think that 2 inches would make that big of a differnece, but I don't want the shocks to expand all the way out. Have you had any handling problems ? Did you happen to see how much travel space you had left on the shocks before they were expanded all the way out with the lift kit?

While re-installing the shocks after installing the leveling kit, I still had to compress the shocks 2"-3". That was with the truck on frame stands and the front suspension dropped. Bilsteins may be different? I have had no adverse handling effects. Eventually I will replace the shocks, but for now they are OK. Mike

I installed Rancho 9000 because of the various loads and trailers I haul. Call Rancho for size or go on website and look up stock shock size and go to one that is 2 inches longer. Make sure the extended and compressed measurements are the same too.

Go to Tuff Country or JC Whitney and the have Heckethorn shocks for 30.00 made by Tuff Country Off Road Suspensions. You can get them 2" longer if you like as well.
